Point # 7: Mud can function as block and/or mortar. Substance and substrate. It is fluid in being what is and what binds. It is the substance and the glue of those substances.

Community Outreach can take on many forms and can lead to various results however the essential aspect is to expand beyond ourselves and within others. It is meant to produce a sense of togetherness, understanding, or reflection of our shared spaces, both physical and abstract.

DRAWING AT THE MODERN

​2 hours, Ages 5-8: Created short lessons corresponding with specific pieces in the Fort Worth Modern’s permanent collection. Ex. Andy Warhol, Campbell’s Soup Cans I, 1968, Discussed popular foods and what they see in their kitchen/Warhol’s influences; Draw favorite food. Ex. John Chamberlain, Scull’s Angel, 1974, Explored what/how it was made; Drew a vehicle on construction paper; crumpled paper into a ball; 2D-3D translation.
